Team Building activities are stimulating problem-solving tasks designed to help group members develop their capacity to work effectively together. Team building exercises can be adapted for any setting, young or old, large or small, and across cultures. An important part of team building exercises is participants' reflection and discussion about the activity, how they approached the situation, and possible points of learning.

Conflict Resolution is the process of attempting to resolve a dispute or a conflict. Successful conflict resolution occurs by listening to and providing opportunities to meet each side's needs, and addressing their interests so that they are each satisfied with the outcome. Conflict resolution aims to end conflicts before they start or lead to verbal, physical, or legal fighting.

Group initiatives, also called teams' courses or low ropes courses, are problems or obstacles that challenge groups both mentally and physically. These challenges require teamwork to be completed successfully. All participants must work together to accomplish the tasks and they act as safety systems for one another. These activities allow the facilitator to work with the group, helping them deal with teamwork objectives, and preparing them for bigger challenges, such as the ones found in the everyday world.

Art for healing is based on the belief that the creative process involved in making the art is healing and life-enhancing. Through the process of creating art, people can increase the awareness of themselves and others, cope with stress, and traumatic experiences; and simply enjoy the pleasures of making their art. Family disruptions like divorce, separation, custody battles, and blended families have brought many children and adults to emotional states that art may help with. When people are not speaking to each other, they can still draw.
